Terms of Service

You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live (18 in most places). If you use the App for a company or a client, you confirm that you're allowed to accept these Terms on their behalf.

When you buy a license, we grant you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use the App, as described on our pricing section at the time of purchase:

• Use for personal and commercial projects, including client work.
• Install and activate it on up to two devices at the same time. You can deactivate a device inside the App to free up an activation.
• Receive the updates we release for the App at no extra charge.

"Lifetime" and "perpetual" mean that your license doesn't expire and doesn't renew. They are not a promise that we will develop or support the App forever: we may change, pause or stop development, and if we ever do, your license to the versions you already have continues.

The license is for the App; it is not a sale of the App. We and our licensors keep all rights that aren't expressly granted to you.

• Copy, sell, rent, lease, sublicense or otherwise distribute the App or your license key.
• Share your license key with people who haven't bought a license, or activate it on more devices than your license allows.
• Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the App, or get around its license checks, except to the extent the law allows this despite this restriction.
• Use the App in a way that breaks the law or infringes anyone else's rights.

Orders are handled by our reseller and merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy. Lemon Squeezy takes your payment, calculates and collects any applicable taxes, and issues your receipt. Its own terms and privacy policy apply to the purchase itself.

The price you pay is the price shown at checkout. Launch discounts are time-limited and may end without notice; they don't affect licenses that have already been bought.

You can get a full refund within 14 days of purchase, with no reason needed, once per customer. See the Refund Policy.

To activate or re-check your license, the App sends your license key, an activation ID and a device label to Lemon Squeezy's license service. We may deactivate a license that has been refunded, charged back, shared in breach of these Terms or obtained fraudulently.

If the license service can't be reached (for example when you're offline), the App keeps working with your last confirmed license and checks again the next time it can.

The App works on your device. Your images, tags, prompts and settings stay there unless you tell the App to send them somewhere.

• AI analysis. If you ask the App to analyze an image with a cloud model (OpenAI, Anthropic or Google Gemini), the App sends that image and prompt straight from your device to the provider, using your own API key. The provider bills you directly at its own prices, and its terms and privacy policy apply. We don't receive these requests and we add no mark-up. Local models (for example through Ollama) run on your own machine.
• Cloud sync. If you connect Google Drive or OneDrive, the App syncs to your own account there.
• You are responsible for having the rights to the images and content you process, and for following the terms of the services you connect.

You keep all rights in your content and in what you create with the App. We claim none.

The App and the Site rely on services we don't control, such as AI providers, Google, Microsoft, Lemon Squeezy and Cloudflare. We aren't responsible for their availability, changes or pricing.

The App, the Site, the name mysnipbox and its logo belong to us or our licensors. These Terms give you no rights in them beyond the license above. If you send us feedback, we may use it without owing you anything.

To the extent the law allows, the App and the Site are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. AI models can return tags or descriptions that are inaccurate, incomplete or biased; you are responsible for reviewing results before relying on them. We don't promise that the App will be error-free or always available.

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data or business, arising from your use of the App or the Site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for your license in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that can't be limited by law, or any consumer rights you have under the mandatory law where you live.

You can stop at any time: deactivate your devices and uninstall the App (your data stays on your device unless you delete it). We may end your license if you materially breach these Terms and don't fix it within a reasonable time after we ask. Sections that by their nature should survive (for example ownership, warranty and liability) do.

We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes apply from the date they are posted and don't take away rights from a license you have already bought; if a change is significant, we'll say so on the Site. If you keep using the App or the Site after a change, you accept it.

We haven't named a particular country's law or courts for these Terms. Where the law where you live gives you consumer rights that can't be waived, those rights stay in place. If something goes wrong, please write to us first at [email protected]; most issues can be sorted out quickly.
